String Beans Adobo with Ground Pork

String beans adobo with ground pork is a dish where the beans, along with ground pork are simmered in soy sauce and vinegar. It is delicious, easy to cook, and perfect when paired with a warm cup of rice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound string beans, cut in 2 inch length
  • 1 medium-sized onion, thinly sliced lengthwise
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 ½ pounds ground pork
  • ⅓ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Heat a frying pan then sear the ground pork.
  2. When oil and juice comes out of the pork, add garlic and onion then cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, and water then bring to a boil.
  4. Shake in the ground black pepper and stir.
  5. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add string beans and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Turn off heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
