A Trip to the Lavender Farm

Monday, 15 January 2018

I can still smell the lavender’s fragrance wafting under my nose. The place was a picture of tranquillity and the smell of lavender was just so calming. This is a go-to place if you are stressed and or looking for a beautiful getaway from the city! I would definitely recommend this as one of the places to visit if you enjoy flowers and nature!

Road Trip Journal - Rotorua

Sunday, 7 January 2018

We've been looking forward to this family getaway for quiet some time. Ever since we set foot in New Zealand, I’ve always imagined going on a road trip and explore the wonders of New Zealand with my family. So when I knew that Joed’s company would be having their annual shutdown for the holidays, I couldn’t get more excited, that means ROADTRIP!

The Big Move to New Zealand

Saturday, 24 June 2017

When I gave birth to Zane, we were to continue with working in Singapore and leave our son in the Philippines with my parents. Zane would come visit us in Singapore either with my mother or mother-in-law every 2-3months. It was until Zane turned 2 when I came to a realization that we were tired of this routine and being away from our son often would just add to the stress and missing important milestones in his life was heartbreaking.

Muriwai Beach

Muriwai Beach

The very first tourist attraction that we visited here in New Zealand was Muriwai Beach, it was winter. It's 42kms west of Auckland CBD, and took us about 40 minutes drive to get there. When we arrived, all I could say was it's definitely worth the drive. The beach was a paradise by itself, unique, plus it didn't have any entrance fees unlike some of the beaches in the Philippines.
